June 10th- 14th
Monday:
Mimi and Papa came to visit. Oliver was hitting the snot out of the balls Papa was tossing him (soft plastic ones from his ball pit). Taylor caught the tail end of this exercise...
Another of my favorite moments today was Ollie singing:
"take, take, take,
take, take, take
take your booey"
While shaking his "juice" concoction- Fruits and Veggies, vitamin D and probiotics- I'll admit, he might have been copying someone else : / Also, one of Oliver's favorite new words is "o-tay", he says it while nodding and tilting his head to the side. I keep wondering who that one is mocking, since I can't tell...it might be me?!
Tuesday:

Nana brought home a whole case of Play-doh for Ollie. 10 new colors means we play FOREVER. He is very methodical, opening each can, rolling the dough into a ball, and stacking both the lids and the containers in separate piles. With prompting, Oliver can recite "Moo, Baa, La La La" (a Sandra Boynton book). At the end it says, "Its quiet now, what do you say?" I taught him to say, "I say MAMA!". Taylor swears he only says it when I'm there to hear it, but I'm not so sure. He also likes to read Chica Chica Boom Boom with us. He doesn't know all the letters (we don't practice as much as we probably should) but he is learning them just from reading without any "teaching". Wednesday:
This one is kinda long, FF a bit...he's our soccer pro!
Today Ollie and Daddy went on a road trip (picking up Daddy's new wedges) Ollie wore his mask the whole time- even while hitting golf balls! Such a good boy! At dinner he gobbled chicken-dipped it in (you guessed it) whipped cream:) After dinner Ollie wanted to watch "tufins" (Doc McStuffins on Disney Junior)...he did, but Taylor and I both fell asleep during the show! He woke us up afterward. Thursday:
Happy birthday Papa Ernie!! We called Papa before we even got out of bed:) Took another road trip with Daddy today. Oliver just likes being out of the house and on the road. After last night's big storm (lots of wind), Ollie's sand toys needed to be picked up and the turtle's shell needed the dents banged out so our precious son could stop saying "uh-oh" and pointing all day. He is always very concerned with making everything "right". Ollie got to talk to his Aunt Ashee and Uncle EE today. We can really tell he misses seeing his cousins and playing with other kids, but Ollie is such a trooper and really doesn't complain too much.

Friday:
Playing B-Ball
We filmed videos for Dr P and Liz today. They had a list of tasks for Ollie to do on video so they could evaluate his progress. I'm not going to post them- they are more clinical than enjoyable. Stay tuned for their response!
| Oliver did this...by himself. The child likes order. |
